SETTING OF CONSOLE INFORMATION
The console information of factory-installed Default-Monitor is set as default in every port of the
server switch unit.
Setting of console information in the server switch unit is required when connecting the slave server
switch units in cascade.
Also, if you replace the LCD with the standard one, console information must be set in the server
switch unit
NOTE：For any other LCD than the standard one, the LCD is
recognized as either of "PnP Monitor" or "Default Monitor" depending
on the LCD type. The optional LCD dedicated to NEC Express server is
recognized as "PnP Monitor". If the LCD is recognized as "Default
Monitor", check cable connection between the server switch unit and the
optional LCD.
1. Select and start one of the servers on ports 1 through 8. (You can set information by starting
a single server only.)
2. Enter the hot-key mode in OSD selection mode (press the <Ctrl> + <Alt> + <Shift> keys, or
press the <Scroll Lock> key twice).
3. Press the <N> key to enter customer mode.
4. If you press the <Enter> key, the background color of EDIT SET on the screen changes to
purple.
