SELECTING SERVER IN OSD SELECTION MODE
SELECTION USING KEYBOARD
1. Select a port of the server switch unit on the master side of the OSD screen by using cursor
keys (↑and ↓).
2. If the slave server switch unit is connected to the selected port in cascade, the status of the
server subject to the cascade connection appears on the slave side of the screen.
3. If the selected port is subject to the cascade connection and when you press the cursor key →,
the character string in the cascade state display section on the slave side of the screen is
displayed purple to make it valid. If you press the cursor key ←, the pointer returns to the
master side of the screen.
4. On the slave side screen, use the cursor keys ↑ and ↓ similarly to select a port.
5. When you press the Enter key on OSD screen, the port on which the cursor is placed is
selected. After the switching, the name of the server newly selected appears at the upper left
corner of the LCD screen for about three seconds.
Press the Esc key on OSD screen to exit from the hot key mode without the switching. Then
the port which has been selected before entering the hot-key mode is selected again.
NOTE：To select a server using keyboard in OSD selection mode when
the server switch unit is in cascade connection with slave server switch
unit, be sure to select a port on master side first, then a port on slave
side.
DIRECT SELECTION WITH KEYBOARD IN OSD SELECTION MODE
You can select a server by pressing the proper one of the 1 to 8 keys o OSD screen.
In the cascade connection with slave server switch unit, select the master side by pressing the proper
one of the 1 to 8 keys and the slave side by pressing the appropriate one of the F1 to F8 keys. The key
operation enables selection of the server directly using the keyboard.
Selecting a server automatically exits from the hot-key mode, and the name of the selected server is
displayed on upper left of LCD for 3 seconds.
NOTE：To select a server using keyboard in OSD selection mode when
the server switch unit is in cascade connection with slave server switch
unit, be sure to select a port on master side first, then a port on slave
side.
