OSD MENU IN DIRECT SELECTION MODE
1. The OSD menu appears on upper left of the LCD screen (the same location as for server
name display, with red background) indicating the status of server switch unit.
NOTEThe server name used for port selection is displayed in blue
background. In the OSD menu, the background is red.
2. When the port is selected, the background color changes to blue. Selecting the server exits
from hot-key mode. By the default, the server name disappears about 3 seconds later.
NOTEIf the stationary display feature is enabled, the server name
remains on the screen even after 3 seconds has passed (with blue
background).
SELECTING SERVER IN DIRECT SELECTION MODE
1. You can select a server by pressing the proper one of the 1 to 8 keys in direct selection mode
(characters are displayed with red background). Keys 1 to 8 correspond to the port number.
2. If you want to select a server in the slave side in the cascade connection with slave server
switch unit, select the master side by pressing the proper one of the 1 to 8 keys and the slave
side by pressing the appropriate one of the F1 to F8 keys. Then the desired port can be
selected directly.
NOTETo select a server using the keyboard in direct selection mode
when the server switch unit is in cascade connection with slave server
switch unit, be sure to select a port on master side first, then a port on
slave side.
3. Selecting the server exits from the direct selection mode.
4. You can also exit from the direct selection mode by pressing the <Esc> or <Enter> key.
