When you click [Open the blade enclosure inter connect configuration] at the bottom of the screen,
the window as shown below appears.
Check the [Detected enclosures] shown by 1 on the above screen.
If the number of detected Blade Enclosures matches the number of Blade Enclosures connected
actually, click the [Enable] button shown by 2 on the above screen.
The EM cards in the Blade Enclosures start sharing information.
If the information sharing succeeds, the information on each Blade Enclosure appears in the Blade
Enclosure list.
If the number of detected Blade Enclosures does not match the number of Blade Enclosures
connected actually, check the following then click the [Reload] button shown by 3 on the above screen
to recheck them.
Check that the power of every Blade Enclosure is turned on.
Check that all LAN cables (straight) for the Blade Enclosure inter connect are connected properly.
IMPORTANT:
To change some cable connections for the Blade Enclosure inter connect(*) with the Blade
Enclosure inter connect being enabled, first disable the Blade Enclosure inter connect. Then
change the cable connections and enable the Blade Enclosure inter connect again.
If some cable connections for Blade Enclosure inter connect are changed without the above step,
click the [Enable] or [Disable] button to update the Blade Enclosure inter connect information
saved in the EM cards to match the current connection status.
(*) Changing the connection status is to change the connections of LAN cables for Blade
Enclosure inter connect due to increase or decrease in Blade Enclosures, positional changes
of Blade Enclosures or another cause.
If an EM card is replaced without EM card duplication, the Blade Enclosure inter connect
information saved in the EM card is lost. In this case also, click the [Enable] or [Disable] button
to update the Blade Enclosure inter connect information saved in the EM cards to match the
current connection status.
