Power managed
Indicates the power consumption of all components in the Blade Enclosure managed by the EM card.
Maximum power consumption
Indicates the maximum power consumption allowable for the system. The value is calculated based
on the maximum input power described in the previous item taking the power efficiency into
account.
Assigned power consumption
Indicates the power already assigned to all components in the Blade Enclosure.
Remaining
Indicates the power unassigned to any components.
TIPS:
The following equation is satisfied:
(Maximum power consumption)=(assigned power)+(remaining power)
If the value specified for Upper limit of the input power is lower than that of the assigned
power consumption while the powers for CPU blade and switch modules are secured, the
remaining power is represented in negative value. If you power off the CPU blade and then try
to power on, power-on is suppressed due to Insufficient power. See Configuration described
later for how to specify the Upper limit of the input power.
Redundancy status
Power redundancy status of the system is displayed. Contents listed below are displayed.
Redundant (Green/lit) : Power redundancy is maintained.
Redundancy decreased (Amber/lit) : Power redundancy is maintained. But failed power supply unit is
included.
No redundancy (Amber/lit) : Redundancy is lost.
Lack of power source (Red/lit) : Shortage of power source occur. System can not maintain power
redundancy.
Unknown (No lit or blink) : Redundancy status is unknown.
