EM card network
Sets IP address, net mask, gateway address, DHCP base address, and the NTP servers IP address for
the EM Card.
1. EM Card IP Address:
This sets the IP address of the EM card
2. EM Card netmask:
This sets the subnet mask of the EM card
3. EM Card gateway IP Address:
This sets the default gateway
This value also uses the EM Cards DHCP feature to distribute the IP address.
Two EM cards installed in a blade enclosure use four IP addresses altogether. These addresses are
classified as either Static IP, which is assigned to the slot only, or Floating IP, which is used by
both the Active EM and the Standby EM, regardless of the slot.
IMPORTANT:
Even if fewer than two Enclosure Manager Cards (EM Card) are installed, four IP addresses are
assigned to the EM.
Avoid duplicating these IP addresses with those of other devices.
