IMPORTANT:
If the power units fail when redundancy is lost, the system may be forced to stop.
Maintain redundancy mode: Recover redundancy mode: This mode manages additional
power requirements from CPU Blades within a limited amount
of power available in a redundant system. In addition, if a
power system redundancy becomes void due to a Power Unit
failure, this mode limits the performance of the CPU Blades to
reduce power consumption with the aim of recovering power
redundancy.
IMPORTANT:
Depending on how the CPU blade is operated, it may fail to reduce power consumption enough to
recover power redundancy.
3. Wait time for power unit booting:
If N+N redundant mode is specified in power management, the system waits until both power
systems receive power. The length of the wait time is specified in this item.
The default is three seconds.
4. Upper limit of input power
When the maximum system power consumption is limited, you can set an upper limit for power
consumption.
If No Limit is selected, zero (0) is assigned to this item. The upper limit of power consumption
is calculated based on the configuration of the installed power units and their status.
The default for this item is No Limit (0 watts).
