Rack
Configures information about the rack containing the blade enclosure.
1. Rack Name: sets the rack name.
TIPS:
NEC ESMPRO Manager handles only single-byte alphanumeric characters, periods, hyphens,
and underscores. For this reason, we recommend using these characters only to specify any
name in this item.
If InterBlade unit connection is applied, modifications to Rack Names are shared with all EM
Card installed in the connected Blade Enclosures.
2. Rack height: sets the rack height
3. Upper limit of the rack input power:
If you want to limit the maximum power consumption of the entire rack system, you can specify
the upper limit of consumption. If “No Limit” is selected, the maximum consumption control is
not achieved, and the value of this item is set to zero (0).
The default is “No Limit” (0 watts).
TIPS:
If “Upper Limit of Input Power for the Entire Rack” is assigned, power is distributed to each blade
enclosure in the rack based on the limit value. Initially, the amount of power for each enclosure is the
same. The rate then changes depending on the operating status of each enclosure.
4. Wait time for response from collaborating blade enclosures unit.
This item sets the wait time for responses from collaborating blade enclosures.
The default is 300 seconds.
