SNMP
Specify the information on SNMP.
1. Get community Name:
Specify the community name used when getting information from the EM via SNMP.
Up to 32 ASCII characters can be used.
The default name is “public”.
2. Set community Name:
Specify the community name used when setting information in the EM via SNMP. Up to 32 ASCII
characters can be used.
The default name is “public”.
3. Set function support:
Specify whether to enable or disable the feature to set information in EM via SNMP.
TIPS:
Select “Use” to operate ID LEDs on CPU blade and switch module remotely from NEC ESMPRO
Manager.
4. Trap community Name:
Specifies community name used for sending SNMP trap to the EM card. Up to 32 ASCII
characters can be used. The default name is “public”.
5. Trap address:
Specifies the EM card-transmit SNMP trap‟s report target IP address. The maximum three report
targets can be specified. The default value for all three of them is “0.0.0.0”. There is no report sent
to the “0.0.0.0” address.
TIPS:
Trap is sent to all the specified report targets.
