Diagnosis by SIGMABLADE Monitor
Diagnostic Process
When the Blade Enclosure is powered on, the diagnostic process of SIGMABLADE monitor is
executed by ITF (Initial Test Firmware).
During diagnosis, the Power LED is lit green and the Status LED is lit red.
Test Items

ROM
Tests the internal ROM of microprocessor for controlling SIGMABLADE
monitor.
RAM
Tests the internal RAM of microprocessor for controlling SIGMABLADE
monitor.
I2C
Tests the I2C interface used for communication with the EM card.
LCD
Tests the LCD.
Button
Tests button operation
ADC
Tests the internal A/D converter of microprocessor for controlling
SIGMABLADE monitor.
OSD
Tests device for controlling OSD.
Keyboard
Tests PS/2 keyboard controller.
Mouse
Tests PS/2 mouse controller.
USB
Tests USB controller.
Indication during diagnosis
The LCD displays the diagnosis results.
During diagnosis, the test item is displayed in the lower line of LCD. When diagnosis completes,
the test item name and test result are displayed on the upper line of LCD.
[OK] indicates normal end, [Err] indicates the detection of an error.
