OSD menu mode
OSD menu mode is composed of the Main Menu and Control Menus.
When OSD menu mode is activated, the Main Menu (Blade Selection Menu) appears.
1 Indicates a menu title.
2 Indicates the rack name and Blade Enclosure name.
3 On the main menu, KVM selection, DVD/USB selection, CPU blade statuses, and CPU blade
names are displayed. On the control menu, list of menu items is displayed.
4 Indicates explanation of key usage and parameters for each control menu.
Activating OSD Menu Mode
Enter the hot key to start the OSD menu mode.
Setting of hot key can be changed in OSD menu mode or on the OSD Setup Menu of the
SIGMABLADE monitor.
Select Hot Key
The following two hot keys are available to start the OSD menu mode.
Quickly press the <Scroll Lock> key twice, and then release.
Press the <Ctrl>, <Alt>, and <Shift> keys simultaneously, and then release.
Operation timeout
If the keyboard is not operated for about one minute or longer, the OSD menu mode is canceled.
TIPS:
-During OSD menu mode operation, OSD requires key board to be operated. Key board is
prohibited to use for the operating system installed in CPU blade. When the operation is required,
exit from OSD menu mode. Mouse is available during OSD menu mode.
-During OSD menu mode operation, OSD simplified mode is disabled. OSD menu mode must be
quit when OSD simplified mode is started.
