KVM Switching
You can change connection of KVM on [Blade Selection Menu].
Select a slot number of the CPU blade to which you want to connect the KVM by using the cursor.
When you press the <Enter> key, the KVM is connected to the selected CPU blade.
When the <Enter> key is pressed, the KVM is disconnected once, and about two seconds later, the
KVM is connected to the selected CPU blade.
During this period, the indication on window disappears. After the KVM is connected, the [Blade
Selection Menu] appears again.
Alternately, you can use one of the keys <1> to <0> while the cursor is placed on any of [Slot1] to
[Slot16] in the KVM field, or press one of the key <1> to <0>, <Q>,<W>, <E>, <R>, <T>, <Y>
(underneath the keyboard row of <1> to <6>) while the cursor is placed in KVM selection field. The
KVM is connected to the CPU blade in the selected slot to select a CPU blade to connect the KVM.
IMPORTANT:
If the EM card is not connected correctly or does not operate normally, the protection feature
may work to disable connection of KVM. When KVM is not available though the correct CPU
blade has been selected, check if the EM card operates normally.
Do not connect or disconnect the KVM while the CPU blade is being activated. Otherwise, the
CPU blade may fail to start.
