Spanning Tree configuration
Command: /cfg/l2/stp <STG number>
[Spanning Tree Group 1 Menu]
brg - Bridge parameter menu
port - Port parameter menu
add - Add VLAN(s) to Spanning Tree Group
remove - Remove VLAN(s) from Spanning Tree Group
clear - Remove all VLANs from Spanning Tree Group
on - Globally turn Spanning Tree ON
off - Globally turn Spanning Tree OFF
default - Default Spanning Tree and Member parameters
cur - Display current bridge parameters
This switch supports the IEEE 802.1D Spanning Tree Protocol (STP) and Cisco PVST+ protocols. You can
configure up to 127 spanning tree groups on the switch (STG 128 is reserved for switch management). Spanning
Tree is turned on by default.
NOTE: When RSTP is turned on, only STP group 1 can be configured.
The following table describes the Spanning Tree Configuration Menu options.

Displays the Bridge Spanning Tree Menu.
port <port number>
Displays the Spanning Tree Port Menu.
add <1-4094>
Associates a VLAN with a spanning tree and requires an external VLAN ID as a
parameter.
remove <1-4094>
Breaks the association between a VLAN and a spanning tree and requires an
external VLAN ID as a parameter.
clear
Removes all VLANs from a spanning tree.
on
Globally enables Spanning Tree Protocol.
off
Globally disables Spanning Tree Protocol.
default
Restores a spanning tree instance to its default configuration.
cur
Displays current Spanning Tree Protocol parameters.
