Theprojectorwillautomaticallydeterminetheincomingsignalanddisplayitinitsaspect
ratio.
Theprojectormayerroneouslydeterminetheaspectratiodependingonitssignal.Ifthis
occurs,selecttheappropriateaspectratiofromthefollowing.
4:3 Theimageisdisplayedin4:3aspectratio.
16:9 Theimageisdisplayedin16:9aspectratio.
15:9 Theimageisdisplayedin15:9aspectratio.
16:10 Theimageisdisplayedin16:10aspectratio.
WIDEZOOM Theimageisstretchedleftandright.
Partsofthedisplayedimagearecroppedattheleftandrightedgesandthereforenotvisible.
NATIVE Theprojectordisplaysthecurrentimageinitstrueresolutionwhentheincomingcomputer
signalhasalowerresolutionthantheprojector’snativeresolution.

orSVGA)evenif[NATIVE]isselected.

• Theterm“letterbox”referstoamorelandscape-orientedimagewhencomparedtoa4:3image,whichisthestandardaspectratio
for a video source.
Theletterboxsignalhasaspectratioswiththevistasize“1.85:1”orcinemascopesize“2.35:1”formovielm.
• Theterm“squeeze”referstothecompressedimageofwhichaspectratioisconvertedfrom16:9to4:3.
