en Steam Heating up the appliance quickly You can use the "Rapid heat-up" and "PowerBoost" functions to reduce the preheat time. Whether the appliance is preheated with the "Rapid heat-up" function or the "PowerBoost" function depends on the type of heating that has been set. With the "PowerBoost" function, unlike with the "Rapid heat-up" function, you can place your food into the cold cooking compartment even before preheating has begun. Only cook on one level when using the "PowerBoost" function.

en Cleaning function Notes ■ Slight differences in colour on the front of the appliance are caused by the use of different materials, such as glass, plastic and metal. ■ Shadows on the door panels, which look like streaks, are caused by reflections made by the interior lighting. ■ Enamel is baked on at very high temperatures.This can cause some slight colour variation. This is normal and does not affect operation. The edges of thin trays cannot be completely enamelled.
Cleaning function Note: When using the cleaning function, you can clean the enamel accessory provided at the same time. You cannot clean any of the wire racks when using the cleaning function. The wire racks are not suitable for cleaning using the cleaning function; this will discolour them. Further accessories suitable for cleaning using the cleaning function are listed in the table for special accessories.

The items on the top baking tray are darker than those on the lower baking tray. The cake looks good, but is not cooked properly in the middle. The cake cannot be turned out of the dish when it is turned upside down. Select a lower temperature next time and extend the baking time if necessary. Select a slightly lower temperature.
Tested for you in our cooking studio Very hot steam may escape when opening the lid after cooking. Lift the lid at the rear, so that the hot steam can escape away from you. If necessary, braise the meat first by searing it. Add water, wine, vinegar or a similar liquid to the braising liquid. A covering at least 2 cm deep should be applied to the base of the cookware. The steam evaporates in the cookware when roasting. Carefully pour in more liquid if required.

The roast is too dark and the crackling is burned in places, and/or the roast is too dry. The crackling is too thin. The roast looks good but the juices are burnt. The roast looks good but the juices are too clear and watery. The meat gets burned during braising. Prepare your food in an enclosed roasting dish with higher temperature or use the grill tray.

Place the cookware onto the wire rack. The distance between the meat and the lid must be at least 3 cm. The meat may rise. Very hot steam may escape when opening the lid after cooking. Lift the lid at the rear, so that the hot steam can escape away from you. If necessary, braise the meat first by searing it.
