Messages
• Block unwanted conversations: When you block the unwanted messages, you will no longer receive calls
or texts from the blocked number. Tap > BLOCK. Besides, you can also tap > Blocked contacts >
ADD A NUMBER and enter the number you want to block.
Note: On the Home screen, tap Messages > > Archived to view the archived conversations.
Configure more settings for a conversation
On the Home screen, tap Messages to open the conversation list. Tap a conversation and tap , you can:
• Add contact: Add the number to a contact or create a new contact.
• Details: Tap Details to view more details about this conversation.
• Archive/Unarchive: Tap Archive/Unarchive to archive or unarchive the conversations.
• Delete: Tap to delete this conversation.
• Help & feedback: Tap to view the help of messages and send feedback if needed.
5. 4 Message settings
Default SMS app
1. On the Home screen, tap Messages > > Settings.
2. Tap Default SMS app to change your default SMS app. Messages is default.
Notifications
1. On the Home screen, tap to Messages > > Settings > Notifications.
2. Turn on the switch to enable notifications when you receive messages.
Hear outgoing message sounds
On the Home screen, tap Messages > , switch on Hear outgoing message sounds to enable the
outgoing message sounds.
Set your current country
1. On the Home screen, tap Messages > > Settings.
2. Tap Your current country to choose the current country. By default, your neffos will automatically detect
your location for current country when you have enabled location service for your phone.
Advanced settings
On the Home screen, tap Messages > > Settings > Advanced, and you can:
• Set group message: Tap Group messaging to set your reply messages (SMS/MMS) for group message.
• Set MMS download: Turn on the Auto-download MMS switch to enable auto-download when you
received a MMS. Turn on the Auto-download MMS when roaming switch to enable auto-download
MMS even though your phone is roaming.
Note: Downloading when roaming may result in additional fees. Contact your carrier for information about your
roaming rates.
• Convert special characters: Switch on Use simple characters to convert special characters in your SMS
messages.
• Find out when an SMS message is delivered: Switch on Get SMS delivery reports and your phone will
receive a delivery report when an SMS message is delivered.
• View the emergency alerts: Tap Wireless emergency alerts to view the emergency alerts in your area.
• View messages of your SIM card: Tap SIM card messages to view your SIM card messages.
• Set your phone number: Tap Phone number and enter your phone number, then tap OK after finishing.
