Parental Control
Your Sound Station has a parental control feature which will allow you to
lock access to channels. A 4-digit code controls access to the locked channel
or locked category. You can also lock the front panel so that no changes can
be made without entering the parental code, or lock the front panel but keep
the favorite buttons enabled.
When you browse a category, the locked channels will have an L displayed to
the right of the channel name.
If you attempt to tune to a locked channel, either by using direct tune or
through the category list, you’ll be prompted to enter your 4-digit code. When
the correct code is entered, the channel will be tuned. All locked channels
become unlocked and will remain unlocked until you turn the Sound Station
off. The next time you turn the Sound Station On, all channels will be locked
again.
If the Sound Station is turned off while tuned to a locked channel, the next
time you turn the Sound Station on, you will be prompted to enter your lock
code. If you cancel, and do not enter your lock code, the channel will display
Parental locked.
To set or change the parental lock code:
The first time you enter Parental Controls, you’ll be prompted to set a 4-digit
code. Once the code has been initially set, thereafter you’ll be prompted to
enter the code each time you enter Parental Controls.
1. Press HOME. Turn the TUNE knob to scroll to and highlight System
