9.0 The Camera application
9.1 Take and view a picture
Open the start menu and tap the Camera icon to open the camera application. When in camera
mode, the screen is a viewfinder and to take a photo you tap the screen.
To view the recently taken picture, make a Change view sweep to the right. This takes you to the
Image Viewer and you can see the picture.
A Change view sweep to the left will get you back into camera mode.
9.2 Change settings
Open the camera tools menu and tap the Settings icon. You can change resolution, white
balance, brightness, color saturation, click sound and vibration.
Mark the setting you want to change and tap the screen. When you choose Resolution, a list of
alternatives will appear.
When you choose white balance you can change setting with the cursor key.
The alternatives are; Auto, Office, Outdoor, Cloudy, Home and Sunny.
Mark the alternative you want and make a Close view sweep to go to the previous menu.
When you choose Brightness or Color saturation, you have a 0-8 scale to choose from. You
change the scale with the cursor key. By default they are set to 4.
Choose whether you want to have click sound or not.
Choose whether you want to have the vibration on or not.
Make a Close view sweep to get back to the camera.
9.3 Send MMS
Take a picture with the camera. Make a change view sweep to the right. To send it as an MMS
you open the tools menu and make two Change view sweeps, tap the Send icon and compose
an MMS.
You can also send your picture:
To shared folder.
If you choose this option, you will find the picture in the “My shared files”- folder. When the
pictures are in this folder, other Bluetooth devices can download the pictures. See chapter
Bluetooth for more details.
