Bluetooth is short-range radio designed to send data, voice or audio between mobile phones, computers and other
devices.
These are the settings you can make on the device.
State
Choose between off, on or on and discoverable.
Devices
See which devices are paired and discovered.
Active headset
None, if there is no headset paired.
If there is a paired headset the name on the headset will appear.
You can use Bluetooth in these different ways on your device.
1. Send vCard
Select a contact
Make a tools menu sweep
Send vCard
With Bluetooth
It now shows a list of paired BT devices and starts scanning for other BT devices.
Select the desired device and tap on the screen
The vCard should now be sent if the peer device accepts it.
2. Send a file
Make a start menu sweep
Make a change view sweep
Open the files icon
Select the file you want to send and make a tools menu sweep
Tap on the send icon and choose “with Bluetooth”
It now shows a list of paired BT devices and starts scanning for other BT devices.
Select the desired device and tap on the screen
The vCard should now be sent if the peer device accepts it.
3. Use as a Client
Make a start menu sweep
Make a change view sweep
Open the files icon
Go to the “Bluetooth FTP Devices” folder
It now shows a list of paired BT devices and starts scanning for other BT devices
When selecting one of the Bluetooth devices your device will try to connect as a client
If this succeeds the peer device will be enumerated and tapping on a peer device file will download the file.
4. Use as a Server
To add a file to the folder that peer devices can see and download, enter the “Files” application. Make a start
menu sweep
Make a change view sweep
Open the files icon
Select a file and make a “Tools menu sweep”
Tap on the “Send” icon
Select the “To shared folder”
The selected file will now be copied to the Shared folder and is available to paired devices.
Pairing
Pairing is a procedure that allows two devices to associate with each other using a pass code. If you want to pair another
device you do like this:
Open the tools menu.
Open the communications icon.
Choose Bluetooth.
Tap on state and choose “On and discoverable”.
Do the same with the device you want to pair with.
