To minimize the amount of time the
backlight stays on and dim it to only
as bright as required to view the
display.

To perform a soft
reboot of the
Nomad handheld.
Backlighting can drain the battery rapidly. To conserve the battery, use this
feature only in low light.
If you do not press a key within 45 seconds of activating this feature, the
Nomad automatically deactivates the backlight to conserve battery power.
Function Explanation
Power ON
Press once.
Power OFF
Press and hold for five seconds, then
release. Choose Sh
ut down.
Turn screen OFF
Press once.

Press and hold for two seconds
Reboot
Hold down for five seconds, then release.
Choose Reset.
Pilot Release
