10.3 Desktop Folder for Special Files
An additional MySyncFiles folder for special files is by default created on your desktop. You
can place all files in the folder that you want Nero Mobile Sync to manage. You can always
change the directory path from the Options window > PC Sharing category.
The syncing of the special files folder behaves completely different to media library syncing;
its sync logic is independent. The content is always synced automatically. No further settings
are needed. The MySyncFiles folder with its content and directory structure is identical on
all computers in your network as well as on your online storage.
A new file in your MySyncFiles folder on your local PC is automatically uploaded to the
MySyncFiles folder on your online storage and vice versa.
A modified file in the MySyncFiles folder on your local PC is automatically uploaded to
the MySyncFiles folder on your online storage and overwrites the remote file if newer.
Vice versa, a modified file is automatically downloaded from your online storage and
overwrites the file on your local PC if newer.
A file that you delete from the MySyncFiles folder on your local PC is automatically
removed from the MySyncFiles folder on your online storage and vice versa.
