This machine is equipped with a descaling alert: the light will blink alternately 3 times, then become steady. Machine
can only be operated to make coee a few more times once the alert appears before descaling becomes mandatory.
Cette machine est munie d’une alerte de détartrage: le voyant lumineux clignote à 3 reprises, puis demeure allumé.
Une fois que l’alerte apparaît, l’utilisateur peut encore préparer quelques cafés avant que le détartrage ne devienne obligatoire.
DESCALING/DÉTARTRAGE
6. Reclose the machine and leave
the lever in “UNLOCKED” position:
towards the front of the machine.

la poignée dans la position «NON
VERROUILLÉE».
9. Lock the machine by turning the lever left to the lock symbol
on the machine head and unlock by turning right. Hold again the
button for at least 7 seconds in “UNLOCKED” position.
9. Verrouiller la machine en tournant la poignée vers la gauche
(selon indication sur la partie supérieure de la machine), puis la
déverrouiller en tournant la poignée vers la droite. Maintenir le
bouton pendant au moins 7 secondes.
8. The button will start blinking rapidly. Now you have 45 seconds
to enter descaling mode by following the next step, otherwise the
machine will return to the ready for brewing coee mode.

machine se remet en mode «prêt pour la préparation de café
».

5. Open the machine head and
let the used capsule be ejected.

1. Empty the drip tray and the
used capsule container.
1. Vider le bac d’égouttage et le
bac de capsules usagées.
2. Fill the water tank with 1 unit
of Nespresso descaling liquid
(Ref. 3035/CBU-2) and add
17 oz./0.5 l of water.
2. Mettre 0.5 l/17 oz. d’eau dans
le réservoir et ajouter la solution
détartrante Nespresso.

7. To enter the descaling
mode, hold the button for at
least 7 seconds.
