11. Connect power
Plug the 230V cable connector in the back of
Nest Protect.
12. Mount Nest Protect
First, tuck any excess wiring into the electrical
box and line up Nest Protect with the backplate.
Second, give it a slight twist clockwise.
It’ll CLICK into place.
13. Switch power back on or replace
the fuse

10. Install Nest Protect backplate
Screw the backplate to the ceiling/wall or dry
lining box if present using the Nest screws.
You can use two or four screws in any open slot
on the backplate (Use fittings suitable to the
material from wall/ceiling).
Refer to the diagrams
on page 6 and 7 for
proper placement of
Nest Protect.
