8. Install the Nest Thermostat
Install it on a wall using the included
power cord, plug and clips. Instructions
forinstalling the Stand for Nest
Learning Thermostat (sold separately)
come with the stand.
Before attaching the base to the wall,
check to make sure the thermostat is
within range of the Heat Link.
If you’re getting rid of an old
thermostat, cap its cables after
you remove it, then cover upthe
hole in the wall.
