Using the WPS Push Button to Connect to a Wireless Access Point or Router
To join a network using the WPS push button:
1. On the access point or router that you have selected, you must first depress the WPS button or
dome on the device. If the device doesn’t have a hard WPS button, open its Smart Wizard or
configuration utility and follow the instructions for adding a WPS client.
2. Use the icon in your system tray to open the adapter’s Wireless Assistant. On the status
bar, click Join a Network. This starts the Smart Wizard.
Note: Once you have initiated WPS from your router or access point, you have
approximately 2 minutes to initiate a WPS connection from your wireless USB
adapter. So, don’t depress the router/access point WPS button until you are
ready to activate the adapter WPS button.
