5. Select the Interface with the information to view or configure. You can either:
a. In the Go T
o Interface field, enter the interface in unit/slot/port format and click the Go
button. The entry corresponding to the specified interface is selected.
b. Select the check box from the list of Interfaces configured for DHCPv6 server
functionality
.
6. In the Admin mode list, select to Enable or Disable DHCPv6 mode to configure server
functionality
.
DHCPv6 server and DHCPv6 relay functions are mutually exclusive.
7. In the Pool Name field, specify the DHCPv6 pool containing stateless and/or prefix
delegation parameters.
8. Rapid Commit is an optional parameter
. In the Rapid Commit list, select to Enable or
Disable allowing an abbreviated exchange between the client and server.
9. In the Preference field, specify the preference value used by clients to determine the
preference between DHCPv6 servers.
Valid values are 0 to 4294967295. The default value is 0.
10. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
View DHCPv6 Bindings Information
You can view entries in the DHCP Bindings table. After a client acquires IPv6 configuration
information from the DHCPv6 server, the server adds an entry to its database. The entry is
called a binding.
To view DHCPv6 bindings information:
1. Launch a web browser

2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
