4. Select System > LLDP > Global Configuration.
5. In the T
ransmit Interval field, enter the interval in seconds to transmit LLDP frames.
The range is from 5 to 32768 secs. The default value is 30 seconds.
6. In the T
ransmit Hold Multiplier field, enter the multiplier on Transmit Interval to assign TTL.
The range is from 2 to 10 secs. The default value is 4.
7. In the Re-Initialization Delay field, enter the delay before re-initialization.
The range is from 1 to 10 secs. The default value is 2 seconds.
8. In the Notification Interval field, enter the interval in seconds for transmission of
notifications.
The range is from 5 to 3600 secs. The default value is 5 seconds.
9. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
Configure the LLDP Interface
To configure the LLDP interface:
1. Launch a web browser
.
2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
