3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password, and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Switching> VLAN >
Advanced > Protocol Based VLAN Group Membership.
5. In the Group ID list, select the protocol-based VLAN group ID.
6. Select port numbers (1, 2, 3, and so on) to select ports to add to this protocol-based VLAN
group.
An interface can belong to only one group for a given protocol. If you already added a
port to a group for IP
, you cannot add it to another group that also includes IP, although
you can add it to a new group for IPX.
7. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.

Field Description
Group Name This field identifies the name for the protocol-based VLAN that you
selected. It can be up to 32 alphanumeric characters long, including
blanks.
Current Members This button can be click to show the current numbers in the selected
protocol-based VLAN group.
