Configure an IP Subnet-Based VLAN
IP subnet-to-VLAN mapping is defined by configuring an entry in the IP Subnet to VLAN
table. An entry is specified through a source IP address, network mask, and the desired
VLAN ID. The IP subnet-to-VLAN configurations are shared across all ports of the device.
To add or delete an IP subnet-based VLAN:
1. Launch a web browser

2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Switching> VLAN >
Advanced > IP Subnet Based VLAN.
5. In the IP Address field, specify a valid IP address bound to the VLAN ID.
Enter the IP address in dotted-decimal notation.
6. In the Subnet Mask field, specify a valid subnet mask of the IP address.
Enter the subnet mask in dotted-decimal notation.
7. In the VLAN ID field, specify a VLAN ID in the range of (1 to 4093).

ake one of the following actions:

o add the IP subnet-based VLAN, click the Add button.

o delete the IP subnet-based VLAN, click the Delete button.
Configure a Port DVLAN
To configure a port DVLAN:
1. Launch a web browser
.
2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
