This specifies the snooping querier address to be used as the source address in periodic
IGMP queries. This address is used when no address is configured on the VLAN on
which query is being sent.
7. Use IGMP V
ersion to specify the IGMP protocol version used in periodic IGMP queries.
The range is 1 to 2. The default value is 2.
8. Use Query Interval(secs) to specify the time interval in seconds between periodic queries
sent by the snooping querier
.
The query Interval must be a value in the range of 1 and 1800. The default value is 60.
9. Use Querier Expiry Interval(secs) to specify the time interval in seconds after which the
last querier information is removed.
The querier expiry Interval must be a value in the range of 60 and 300. The default value
is 125.
10. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
The page displays the VLAN IDs enabled for IGMP snooping querier.
Configure IGMP Snooping Querier for VLANs
You can configure IGMP queriers for use with VLANs on the network.
To configure querier VLAN settings:
1. Launch a web browser

2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Switching> Multicast > IGMP Snooping > Querier VLAN Configuration.
