Configure an Advanced VRRP Tracking Interface
To configure an advanced VRRP tracking interface:
1. Launch a web browser
.
2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Routing > VRRP >
Advanced > VRRP Tracking Configuration.
5. From the VRRP Interface and VRRP ID menus, select a virtual router
.
The virtual routers are listed by interface number and VRRP ID.
6. From the T
racked Interface menu, select a routing interface.
The menu lists all routing interfaces that are not yet tracked for the VRRP ID and interface
configuration.
The menu does not list the loopback interfaces and tunnels that could not
be tracked.
7. In the Priority Decrement field, enter priority decrement value the for the tracked interface.
The valid range is 1 to 254. The default value is 10.
The nonconfigurable Tracked Interface State field displays the state of the tracked
interface.
