5. In the RP Address field, enter the IP address for one or more multicast groups.
6. In the Group Address field, enter the group address of the RP
.
7. Enter the Group Mask of the RP to be created or deleted.
8. In the Override field, select Enable or Disable.
Enable indicates that, if there is a conflict, the RP configured with this option prevails
over the RP learned by BSR.
9. Click the Add button.
The static RP address is added for one or more multicast groups
10. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
Configure Multicast Static Routes
To configure multicast static routes:
1. Launch a web browser

2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Routing> Multicast > Static Routes Configuration.
5. In the Source IP field, enter the IP address that identifies the multicast packet source for the
entry you are creating.
6. In the Source Mask field, enter the subnet mask to be applied to the source IP address.
7. In RPF Neighbor field, enter the IP address of the neighbor router on the path to the
source.
8. In the Metric field, enter the link state cost of the path to the multicast source.
The range is 0 to 255, the default is 1. You can change the metric for a configured route
by selecting the static route and editing this field.
