The following table describes the nonconfigurable fields that display on the page.
Manage Host Keys
You can generate or delete RSA and DSA keys.
To manage host keys:
1. Launch a web browser
.
2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.
4. Select Security >
Access > SSH > Host Keys Management.

Field Description
SSH Version The SSH server on the device can accept connections from an SSH
client using Protocol Level 2 for SSH (SSH-2). Protocol Level 2 for SSH
is enabled by default.
Current Number of SSH Sessions The number of active SSH sessions between remote SSH clients and the
SSH server on the device.
Keys Present Displays Ye
s or No whether one or both (if any) of the following keys
are present on the device:
SSH-2 Rivest-Shamir-Adelman (RSA) key file (PEM encoded)
SSH-2 Digital Signature
Algorithm (DSA) key file (PEM encoded)
