7. From the VLAN ID list, select the VLAN to use with the MAC address to fully identify packets
to be filtered.
You can change this field only when Create Filter is selected from the MAC Filter list.
8. In the MAC Address field, specify the MAC address of the filter in the format
00:01:1A:B2:53:4D.
You can change this field when you select the Create Filter option.
You cannot define filters for the following MAC addresses:
00:00:00:00:00:00
01:80:C2:00:00:00 to 01:80:C2:00:00:0F
01:80:C2:00:00:20 to 01:80:C2:00:00:21
FF:FF:FF:FF:FF:FF
9. Use Source Port Members to list the ports to be included in the inbound filter
.
If a packet with the MAC address and VLAN ID you selected is received on a port that is
not in the list, it is dropped.
10. Use Destination Port Members to list the ports to be included in the outbound filter
.
Packets with the MAC address and VLAN ID you selected are transmitted only from ports
that are in the list. Destination ports can be included only in the multicast filter
.
11. Click the Apply button.
Your settings are saved.
MAC Filter Summary
To view the MAC filter summary:
1. Launch a web browser
.
2. In the address field of your web browser
, enter the IP address of the switch.
The login window opens.
3. Enter admin as the user name, enter your local device password,
and click the Login
button.
The first time that you log in, no password is required. However, you then must specify a
local device password to use each subsequent time that you log in.
The System Information page displays.

raffic Control > MAC Filter > MAC Filter Summary.
