NETGEAR's HE102 802.11a Wireless Access Point provides users untethered access to the

network and Internet whether in their conference room, home, classroom or cafeteria.

With the NETGEAR HE102 and other NETGEAR 802.11a products, you can create a

network from the ground up or extend your wired network to accommodate new locations

and users. With blazing speeds of 54Mbps, or up to 72Mbps in turbo mode, you can

deploy high-bandwidth applications never before possible. Send and receive large files,

including high-quality audio and video, anywhere in your business or classroom. Share

presentations and collaborate on graphics-intensive projects without being tied to your

desk. You'll immediately experience reliable, IEEE 802.11a LAN connectivity that's protected

with industry-standard 64/128/152-bit WEP encryption.

Superior capacity increases potential wireless network density. In combination with

NETGEAR's HA501 Wireless PC Card, the HE102 reliably and securely supports up to 64

users per access point. And it does not interfere with IEEE 802.11b or Bluetooth™ devices.

NETGEAR's 54 Mbps wireless product line is based on Wi-Fi5 technology, supports

98, Me, NT 4.0, 2000, and XP operating systems.

Delivers blazing speeds of 54Mbps or up to 72Mbps in turbo mode, and quickly creates or

extends your LAN without the time or expense of Ethernet cabling.

Extends your Ethernet LAN by allowing secure, mobile access to network resources. Simply

connect one or more NETGEAR HE102 Access Points to your existing network or broadband

connection, then add a NETGEAR HA501 Wireless PC Card Adapter to each notebook PC.

With high-speed wireless connectivity, moble users can bemore productive, wherever their work

happens to be.

Eight non-overlapping transmission channels in the 5 GHz band (5.15 to 5.35 GHz) provide

access for up to 64 users per access point. This means an organization can provide greater

bandwidth at a lower cost than the previous generation of Wireless LANs.

Prevents unauthorized access to your data transmissions with secure, industry-standard

60/128/152-bit WEP encryption technology. A lower level of data encryption or no data

encryption is available to simplify your network setup or to improve data transfer rate.
