M4100 Series Managed Switch
• Archive. Specify archive (STK) code to upgrade the operational flash:
• Image1. Specify the code image1 to download.
• Image2. Specify the code image2 to download.
• CLI Banner. Specify CLI Banner when you want a banner to be displayed before the
login prompt.
• Text Configuration. Specify configuration in text mode to update the switch's
configuration.
If the file has errors, the update is stopped.
• Use Config Script to specify the script configuration file.
• Use SSH-1 RSA Key File to specify the SSH-1 Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA) Key
File.
• Use SSH-2 RSA Key PEM File to specify the SSH-2 Rivest-Shamir-Adleman (RSA)
Key File (PEM Encoded).
• Use SSH-2 DSA Key PEM File to specify the SSH-2 Digital Signature Algorithm (DSA)
Key File (PEM Encoded).
• Use SSL Trusted Root Certificate PEM File to specify the SSL Trusted Root
Certificate File (PEM Encoded).
• Use SSL Server Certificate PEM File to specify the SSL Server Certificate File (PEM
Encoded).
• Use SSL DH Weak Encryption Parameter PEM File to specify the SSL Diffie-Hellman
Weak Encryption Parameter File (PEM Encoded).
• Use SSL DH Strong Encryption Parameter PEM File to specify the SSL
Diffie-Hellman Strong Encryption Parameter File (PEM Encoded).
The factory default is Image1.
Note: To download SSH key files, SSH must be administratively disabled
and there can be no active SSH sessions.

9. Use Image Name to select one of the images from the list:
• Image1. Specify the code image1 to retrieve.
• Image2. Specify the code image2 t to retrieve.
10. Use Transfer Mode to specify what protocol to use to transfer the file:
• TFTP. Trivial File Transfer Protocol
• SFTP. Secure File Transfer Protocol
• SCP. Secure Copy Protocol
11. Use Server Address Type to specify either IPv4, IPv6, or DNS to indicate the format of the
TFTP/SFTP/SCP Server Address field.
