the year, month, date, hour, minute, and second time stamp for the file (see
Configure the Host Name on page 188).

Clear the logs. Click the Clear Logs button. The log entries onscreen are cleared
but the log files remain intact.

Filter the logs

Filter by name. Enter part of the name of a log entry and click the search
icon. Note that the catergory preceding the title, such as Volume:, is not part
of the name.

Level. By default, All is selected, but you can select Errors, Warnings, and
Info.

Categories. By default, messages for all categories display, but you can select
individual categories: System, Disk, Volume, Share, Backup, Account, or
Miscellaneous.
- Date. Enter a date range to restrict the display to entries in that date range.
Configure Auditing
You can enable tracking of protocol use, file system activity, user logins and logouts,
and host/IP address, and you can confine this tracking to a date range.
To configure auditing for the first time:
1. Log in to the Admin Page.
2. Select System > Logs
