The window adjusts to show the appropriate set of parameters.
6. Do one of the following:
If you clicked the Local button, click the Browse button and navigate to and
select the share or LUN that you want to back up.
If you clicked the Remote button, do the following:
a. Enter the host name.
b. Click the Share Browse button and navigate to and select the share or LUN.
Note: ReadyDR communicates over port 5253. Only change the port number if
you are using port address translation.
7. To store the backup locally, on the right side of the window click the Local button,
or click the Remote button.
The window updates to show the appropriate set of parameters.
8. Do one of the following:
If you clicked the Local button, click the Browse button and navigate to and
select the destination ReadyDR share.
If you clicked the Remote button, do the following:
a. Enter the host name.
b. Click the ReadyDR ShareBrowse button and navigate to and select the
destination ReadyDR share.
Note: ReadyDR communicates over port 5253. Only change the port number if
you are using port address translation.
9. Click the Next button.
If the private key of the first system is already on the second system, the Add ReadyDR
Job window updates to show the options and schedule fields. If the private key is
not already on the second system, a login window opens.
10. If a login window opens, log in to the second system using the second system's
administrator credentials.
The first ReadyNAS system sends its private key to the second, the log in window
closes, and the Add ReadyDR Job window updates to show the options and schedule
fields.
11. Adjust any of the schedule parameters as desired.
You can schedule a job to automatically run as frequently as once every hour, daily,
or just once a week.
