Set the On-Off slider so the slider shows the On position.

Click the Browse button and browse to the folder in which you want to store the
backups.
6. Click the OK button.
Your settings are saved and the window closes.
Back Up Using Time Machine
You can use Mac OS X Time Machine and your ReadyNAS storage system to back up
and retrieve data for your Mac computer. This combines the ease of a native Mac backup
with the space and reliability of your ReadyNAS.
