This clears t he AP’s user set t ings, including User I D, Password, I P Address, and Subnet m ask. Som e t hings t o consider: ٛ Keep t he access point as cent ral in your work area as possible. Signal st rengt h and speed fall off wit h dist ance. Higher is oft en bet t er. For inst ance, set it up on t he t op shelf of a bookcase rat her t han t he bot t om one, if possible.

To configure t he device via Web browser, at least one properly configured com put er m ust be connect ed t o t he device via Et hernet or wireless net work. The Wireless Access Point is configured wit h t he default I P address of 192.168.1.1 and subnet m ask of 255.255.255.
