6 .1 Loggin g I n
I n order t o m ake t he whole net work operat e successfully, it is necessary to
configure the Wireless AP t hrough your com put er has a WEB browser inst alled.
Please follow up the st eps list ed below.
St ep 1: Start your Web browser and type h tt p:/ / 1 9 2 .1 6 8 .1 .1 in t he Address
field. This address is t he default privat e I P of your AP.

I f t he AP’s LAN port has been changed with new I P address, enter t he new
I P address inst ead.
St ep 2: After Pressing Ent er, you will be able t o see the Wireless Access Point ’s
web- based configurat ion ut ility. From now on the Wireless Access Point act s as
a Web server sending HTML pages/ form s at your request . You can click t he
m enu opt ions at the left t o st art t he configuration task.
Dont forget to change the Password in configuration’s Aut hent ication to
ensure t he securit y. When first configuring your AP, it is recom m ended that you
have an Ethernet cable connect ed t o t he AP. Perform ing t he I NI TI AL
configuration using a wireless connect ion is not secure and is not recom m ended.
After you have finished t he init ial configurat ion of t he AP, your connection will
be secure and you can safely use eit her a wired or wireless connect ion.
