Wi- Fi Protected Access ( WPA) is an advanced security st andard. You can use a
pre- shared key t o authent icat e wir eless stat ions and encrypt dat a during
com m unicat ion. I t uses TKI P and AES to change t he encryption key frequent ly.
This can im prove security very m uch.

TKI P: Tem poral Key I nt egrity Prot ocol ( TKI P) ut ilizes a stronger encryption
algorithm and includes Message I ntegrit y Code ( MI C) to provide prot ect ion
against hackers.
AES: Advanced Encryption Syst em (AES) ut ilizes a sym m et ric 128- Bit
block dat a encryption. I ts the st rongest encrypt ion current ly available.
W PA Pass Phrase: The WPA Pass Phrase is used t o aut hent icate and
encrypt data transm itt ed in the wireless net work. The input form at is in
charact er style and key size should be in the range bet ween 8 and 63
charact ers.
Clea r: I f you want to ret ype again. Just click "Clear" and "WPA Pass Phrase"
fields will be cleared.
Re ke y Tim e ( se c) : Specifies t he tim er t he WPA key m ust changes. The
change is done autom atically between t he server and t he client. The default
value is 86400.
