Cha pt er 5 Configuring Local PC t o Access t he
W ireless AP
You can m anage t he Wireless Access Point through t he Web browser- based
configuration utility. To configure t he device via Web browser, at least one
properly configured com put er m ust be connect ed to t he device via Et hernet or
wireless network. The Wireless Access Point is configured with the default I P
address of 192.168.1.1 and subnet m ask of 255.255.255.0 and it s DHCP server
is enabled by default . Before set ting up the AP, m ake sure your PCs are
configured t o obtain an I P ( or TCP/ I P) address autom at ically from t he AP by t he
st eps below.
