The radio unit can be installed with horizontal or vertical polarization. Figure 2-12 shows
the polarization with reference to the radio lifting handles and waveguide. The antenna
assembly is shipped in a vertical polarization configuration.
To set the radio unit and antenna for horizontal polarization you must change the antenna’s
waveguide feed from its default vertical polarization to a horizontal polarization, and match
the radio unit position accordingly (see Figure 2-12).
