 A“library”meansacollectionofsoftwarefunctionsand/ordatapreparedsoastobe
 convenientlylinkedwithapplicationprograms(whichusesomeofthosefunctionsand
 data)toformexecutables.
 The“Library”,below,referstoanysuchsoftwarelibraryorworkwhichhasbeendis
 tributedundertheseterms.A“workbasedontheLibrary”meanseithertheLibraryor
 anyderivativeworkundercopyrightlaw:thatistosay,aworkcontainingtheLibraryor
 aportionofit,eitherverbatimorwithmodificationsand/ortranslatedstraightforwardly
 intoanotherlanguage.(Hereinafter,translationisincludedwithoutlimitationintheterm
“modification”.)
 “Sourcecode”foraworkmeansthepreferredformoftheworkformakingmodifications
 toit.Foralibrary,completesourcecodemeansallthesourcecodeforallmodulesit
 contains,plusanyassociatedinterfacedefinitionfiles,plusthescriptsusedtocontrol
 compilationandinstallationofthelibrary.
 Activitiesotherthancopying,distributionandmodificationarenotcoveredbythis
 License;theyareoutsideitsscope.TheactofrunningaprogramusingtheLibraryis
 notrestricted,andoutputfromsuchaprogramiscoveredonlyifitscontentsconstitute
 aworkbasedontheLibrary(independentoftheuseoftheLibraryinatoolforwriting
 it).WhetherthatistruedependsonwhattheLibrarydoesandwhattheprogramthat
 usestheLibrarydoes.
1. YoumaycopyanddistributeverbatimcopiesoftheLibrary’scompletesourcecodeas
 youreceiveit,inanymedium,providedthatyouconspicuouslyandappropriately
 publishoneachcopyanappropriatecopyrightnoticeanddisclaimerofwarranty;keep
 intactallthenoticesthatrefertothisLicenseandtotheabsenceofanywarranty;and
 distributeacopyofthisLicensealongwiththeLibrary.
 Youmaychargeafeeforthephysicalactoftransferringacopy,andyoumayatyour
 optionofferwarrantyprotectioninexchangeforafee.
2. YoumaymodifyyourcopyorcopiesoftheLibraryoranyportionofit,thusforminga
 workbasedontheLibrary,andcopyanddistributesuchmodificationsorworkunderthe
 termsofSection1above,providedthatyoualsomeetalloftheseconditions:
  a)Themodifiedworkmustitselfbeasoftwarelibrary.
  b)Youmustcausethefilesmodifiedtocarryprominentnoticesstatingthatyou
  changedthefilesandthedateofanychange.
  c)Youmustcausethewholeoftheworktobelicensedatnochargetoallthird
  partiesunderthetermsofthisLicense.
  d)IfafacilityinthemodifiedLibraryreferstoafunctionoratableofdatatobe
  suppliedbyanapplicationprogramthatusesthefacility,otherthanasan
