INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS

PARTS LIST: 1 – HEAT SHIELD 1 – PUSH FASTENER

1 – P-FLO BRACKET 1 – SHEET METAL SCREW

1 – AIR FILTER 1 – HEX KEY WRENCH

1 – MINI FILTER 2 –

1 – HOOD SEAL 2 – #6 WASHERS

2 – 8mm NYLOC NUTS 2 – OVAL SHAPED NUTS

TOOLS REQUIRED: 1 – FLAT SCREW DRIVER 1 –

” WRENCH or SOCKET

1 – PHILIPS SCREW DRIVER 1 – 10mm WRENCH

1 – DRILL MOTOR 1 – 13mm WRENCH

1 – ¼” DIAMETER DRILL

1. First, disconnect electrical connector, and intake tube

from mass air sensor. Next remove the one rubber ‘O’

ring that holds the air box to the frame. Completely

remove hose at front corner of air box lid on down to

plastic tube near front corner of alternator. Now

remove air box.

2. Install mini-filter to air pump.

3. Unclip two clips to separate mass air sensor from air

box.

4. Mount metal NEUSPEED P-Flo bracket to existing

studs on side of strut tower.

5. Mount mass air sensor to BACK SIDE of bracket

with hardware and hex key wrench supplied (align slots

with hole in bracket). Install screw and flat washer

from FRONT SIDE of bracket through mass air sensor

slots. Use the oval shaped threaded nuts on BACK

SIDE, with large area (flat side) against bracket.

Tighten both screws.

6. Re-install intake hose to mass air sensor and re-

connect electrical connector. At this point, your

installation should like what is pictured above.

7. Insert lower front portion of the shield under the

radiator support and slide bottom edge of shield into

slot between AC condenser line and chassis seam.

Rotate rear portion of shield down and into position,

making sure any hoses and/or electrical lines are routed

through cut outs.

9. Install heat shield and using the front mounting tab hole as a guide, mark the radiator support. Remove the shield and drill a  ¼” hole through the radiator support. 8. Due to slight variations in vehicle geometry (see illustration above), it is necessary to drill the front mounting tab and radiator support to properly mount the heat shield. Pull the heat shield forward (towards the front of the car) until the mounting tab contacts the radiator support.

11. Pass newly supplied filter through opening in heat shield. Rotate filter until end of filter is parallel with mass air sensor. Slide filter onto sensor and secure hose clamp.
