Engineering Change Notice
In the course of continuously improving our products and services we have enhanced the
fastening method of the B-series. By using the same polyamide plastic PA66 provided by a
different vendor fastening can be accomplished by following screws:
1) Taptite screw type – as until
- M2.5x8mm, pitch 0.45mm DIN 7500C, UNI812, (Neutrik B-screw-1-8)
- recommended fastening torque >30cNm
- recommended panel fastening hole 2.7mm diameter
2) Plastite PT screw type
- PT 2.9x8mm, pitch 1.06mm, (Neutrik A-screw-1-8)
- PT #3 diameter, pitch 24, (eg. Acument)
- WN 1412, type K30, KA30, KN30 (eg. Maryland Metrics, Bosshard, Schrievers)
- recommended fasting torque >50cNm
- recommended panel fastening hole 3.2mm diameter
3) Suggested screw length
- 7mm plus thickness of front panel
