Lighting the Grill

Ignition for BURNERS(1, 2, 3, 4 and 5):
1. Read and complete PRE-GRILL checklist.
2. Make sure all control knobs are set to o.
3. Always light grill with lid open.
4. Turn fuel supply on.
5. Push in, turn the control knob counter-clockwise to the
ignition point ( )and. hold in for 5 seconds until the
burners ignite. It will immediately be on high.
6. Once the grill is lit, adjust the temperature using the Max
-to- Min settings.
Manual Lighting
Method 1(Fire Tube):
If the burners fail to light after a couple of attempts, it can be
lit using the supplied match lighting stick. Follow the steps
below for manual grill lighting.
1. Read and complete PRE-GRILL checklist.
2. Make sure all control knobs are set to o.
3. Always light grill with lid open.
4. Turn fuel supply on.
5. Place a kitchen lighter on top of the re tube opening and
light it up
6. Push the far right control knob in and turn it to HIGH
to ignite the right burner. Check that the ame is lit by
looking through the cooking grates. You should see a
ame.
7. Once the far right burner is lit, push-in and turn the valve
for the middle burner. Once the re crosses over and
light the middle burner, you can repeat this process for
the burner on the far left side. If any of the burners fails
to ignite during the lighting process, within ve seconds,
stop, turn the burner control knob to OFF and wait ve
minutes to allow the gas to clear before you try again.
