[7] Broadcast
Broadcast enables you to receive broadcast messages on
general information such as weather or traffic etc. For more
information on broadcasting, contact your service provider.
(1) Inbox : Receive incoming broadcast messages
(2) Option : Select to turn on /off broadcast message.
(3) Set language : Define your preferred broadcast message
language
(4) Channel list : Define the channel that you will like to
receive broadcast message

The message settings affect the sending, receiving and
viewing of messages.
(1) Service Center :
Store or change the number of your SMS center
required when sending messages. You must obtain the
number from your service provider.
(2) Expire period :
Set the length of the time for which your messages are
stored at the message center while attempts to deliver
them. Select from the following : 1 hour, 6 hours, 12 hours,
24 hours, 72 hours, 1 week, Maximum.
(3) Message type :
Set the default message type - Text, Voice, E-mail and
Fax. The network can convert the message into the
selected format.
(4) Status report :
Activate or deactivate the report function. When this function
is On, the network will inform you whether or not your
message has been delivered .
(5) Alert period :
Select the incoming message alert frequency. Choose
from : One time, Every 2 min, Off

Memory status displays message capacity in your phone or
SIM card. When 'Memory is full' message appears, you will
not be able to save any more new message till you have
deleted some of the older messages.
Multimedia Message Service (MMS) delivers messages
containing a combination of text, image, video, and audio, from
phone to phone

(1) To[ ]: Press [Edit], input a recipient's number or email
address, then key in the recipient's number or email
address. Alternatively you can insert contact from your
Phone book by scrolling through the entries and press
[OK] to select.
