Deck-A-Floor PRO Components
The Deck-A-Floor PRO comes with four different
components in one box as shown in Figure 3.
Component 1: Deck-A-Floor PRO Clip 5
Used on top of pre-existing joists to eliminate the need to
fasten every board with a hidden fastener. Clips are
designed to fit 1.5 inch (38 mm) joists.
Can be cut into shorter lengths to be used.
Note: Once cut there will only be a female or male
head available on one side the other side will become
flat and will not be able to be interlock into other clips.
Component 2: Deck-A-Floor PRO Clip 1
Used in the same fashion as the DAF PRO Clip mainly for
the areas that need shorter lengths. Clips are designed to
fit 1.5 inch (38 mm) joists.
Component 3: Locking Inserts & Gap Spacer
The locking insert is used to lock down the board to hold
it’s position and allow for even expansion and contraction
to take place.
The gap spacer evenly spaces boards from end to end.
Component 4: UltraShield Composite Boards
The special design of the UltraShield composite boards
allow it to easily be installed by utilizing the DAF PRO
Clips.
